Enzo William Rusconi has arrived!

Our beautiful baby boy joined us here in sunny CA on June 10th at 3:40 p.m. Weighing in at 6 lb 10 oz. and 20 inches long. He is so sweet! A little strawberry blondie with dimples and long legs. We are in Love!!!!

Daddy is becoming an expert on the 5 S'. He's quite proud of his swaddling knowledge especially. Soon to be put to the test. Mommy is still nesting... cleaning, organizing, and building Enzo's baby book. Shouldn't be long now! Doctor says she will induce next Tuesday if we have no action by then. By the way he kicks and stretches you would think he wants a little more room than what Mom can offer. Ah... soon enough.

36 Weeks - Can you say cankles?

My hands are so swollen I'm typing like I did in Middle School Typing class. The Heat is killing me, and therefore killing Alfredo! We're up to the 90's again. We made our best attempt to get out Sunday morning to see the gay pride parade a few blocks away. Needless to say we didn't last very long. I met another pregnant woman along the way and we talked cankles.

31 Weeks!

Baby is growing so quickly. Those kicks that were so cute have now drawn "what the..." remarks but I still love 'em. His nursery is coming along. Can't wait!!

95 Degree Days... I Love California

Yesterday morning we walked on the beach. Today Fredo sleeps in after staying up all night playing with his new computer and I'm ready to go walking before the feet start to swell up. Otherwise, it's too hot for sewing or organizing or, well anything.

Posting some shots of my meager garden. All of these shown (with exception of the herbs) are rewards from guerilla gardening... aka nipping off pieces of poeple's plants as I pass by and bringin' home. I've always been a perennial gal but they grow much too quick here in So-Cal for a patio garden. Succulents it is for now.

30 Weeks!

Little Enzo is getting strong. His kicks and punches make mom wonder if he is trying to escape the womb. Rest assured if he does he now has a crib and mattress waiting for him!

29 Weeks!

Energy levels are waning and little guy is moving so much he's waking me up. No complaints here!!!

28 Weeks. Third Trimester... the last stretch.

Weekend in Indian Wells

We watched some really great tennis this weekend at the Pacific Life Open. It was a blistery 95 degrees or so. We visited the mist blower, lemonade ice maker, and water cooler constantly.





Off in the distance there is snow in the mountains. During all matches I wished to be near that snow...
